Mr. Sudhir Prasad

Dr Sudhir Prasad is a Senior Consultant Pulmonologist working at Global Hospitals, Hyderabad, Telangana. He delivers comprehensive care for all diseases of Pulmonary Medicine with areas of interest- airway diseases, interventional Pulmonology and sleep medicine. Along with his colleagues, he manages state of the art Respiratory intensive care unit (RICU) at Global Hospital, LB nagar in Hyderabad. It was the first RICU to manage category C swine flu patients. He has been actively participating in clinical research as Principal Investigator and teaching- Undergraduates, Post Graduates, Nurses and Respiratory Technicians.

Dr. Sudhir Prasad is an alumnus of Osmania Medical College from where he has pursued MBBS and MD in Pulmonary Medicine. His academic career also includes European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine. Dr. Sudhir Prasad has attained ERS Diploma in 2011 from Amsterdam. He has received special training in Bronchoscopy and Sleep Medicine under Prof. C E Prasad besides training in an Interventional Pulmonology like Thoracoscopy, Rigid Bronchoscopy and Stenting.
